Three more Coronavirus cases recorded in Kenya, total hits 31
Another three cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in Kenya, the ministry of health has announced.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 31.
However, one of the patients has recovered from the virus and released from the Mbagathi quarantine centre.
Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi said in the three new cases, two are from Kilifi county and one in Nairobi county.
Kilifi county has been on the spot lately after its deputy governor tested positive for the virus having been to Germany.
The deputy governor refused to quarantine and went on to interact with different people, among them Kilifi county Governor Amason Kingi.
He was heavily criticised for failing to quarantine as required by the government.
