WAMERUDIANA? Diamond leaves tongues wagging with sweet video of baby mama Hamisa Mobetto dancing to his new song
Simba Baba Lao are some of his nicknames. Or just call him Chibu Dangote. Or even Baba Tiffah. He loves and enjoys them all.
But what has built him is Diamond Platnumz, the sensational Bongo singer who has ‘wreaked havoc’, across East Africa, planting generously where and when he can.
He has quite a baby mama to his name. Talk of Uganda’s Zari, Tanzania’s Hamisa Mobetto, and even most recently, Kenya’s Tanasha Dona.
Tanasha is the latest to have walked out of Diamond’s life, having born him a handsome young man named after his father.
But that is not what we are discussing today. Let’s turn our attention to Hamisa Mobetto, the woman who led to Diamond’s fallout with Zari.
When Hamisa became pregnant for Diamond, Zari was actively in the picture, as the official wife of the singer. When she (Zari) discovered their affair, she dumped Diamond on Valentines.
Hamisa instituted legal proceedings against Diamond for child care, and there was a major fallout.
A few years down the line, and especially after Diamond recognised her on his World Women’s Day, Hamisa seems to have buried the hatchet with the singer, if a video shared by Diamond himself is anything to go by.
The Kainama hitmaker took to his social media to share a video of Hamisa singing and joyfully dancing to his latest song, Jeje.
“JEJE ya mama ake @deedaylan , @hamisamobetto,” he captioned.
