Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his CCM counterpart Isaac Ruto on Wednesday signed a post election pact with the Jubilee party.
Kalonzo was accompanied by Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior and party chairman Ali Mwakwere who si the current Kenya’s Ambassador to Tanzania.
Representing Jubilee was party Vice Chairman David Murathe.
The cooperation pact was agreed by various party NEC’s last month giving the party leaders the go ahead to enter into the political deal.
Kalonzo said Wiper will continue being a member of the National Super Alliance (NASA).
Early in May Baringo Senator Gideon Moi’s Kanu entered a post-election coalition agreement with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s ruling Jubilee Party.
The ruling party has been reaching out to other parties in a bid to consolidate numbers in the national assembly.
However analysts say the move by President Uhuru Kenyatta is meant to end his deputy William Ruto’s reign in the two houses and other key decision making slots in the government.
